It is our greatest pleasure to invite you to our one-day “BMIC meets Industry” event: this time we’ll meet at and visit SCK-CEN – the Belgium Nuclear Research Centre.

WHO? The event is primarily designed for early-career investigators, but participation is in no way limited.

- We’ll explore the site together and learn about research activities at SCK CEN.
- Present your work and put it up for discussion.
- Engage with peers, strengthen, and expand your network.

Who we are and why you should join
We are the young Belgium Molecular Imaging Community (BMIC): a pioneering imaging science community in Belgium run by early-career researchers who promotes the formation of a strong network of ECR’s working in the broad and multidisciplinary field of imaging science. Since its foundation in 2015, BMIC has been the driving forces of the young ESMI initiative.
We are particularly offering MSc/PhD students and early career post-docs an easy and informal entry into the broader international imaging community. In this sense, BMIC pursue to attract young imaging scientists to the “mother” society – the ESMI.
