The EMIM 2026 Committee calls for original, unpublished work to be presented as oral or poster presentation.

important to know!
To give all your work the attention it deserves, the following rules have been implemented:
- The number of submission as presenting author and number of presentations in Ljubljana (oral or poster) is limited to one (no limit on co-authorship).
- The overall number of submissions is limited to the top scored 750.
- One-presenter-role: presentation on-site is also limited to one (oral or poster). It is not possible to present e.g. two talks, two posters, or a poster and a talk ect.
- All presenters need to be registered and present in Ljubljana.
A word on scientific level & Review process
The scientific level of submissions is traditionally very high. Scientific quality and originality of your work is the sole basis for a decision on acceptance and presentation type (oral/poster). Each abstract is reviewed by at least 12 independent reviewers in a double blind reviewing process along the following parameters:
- Originality of Content
- Soundness of Conclusion
- Importance
- Quality
- Novelty
- Impact
