The ESMI is a growing, multidisciplinary, collaborative, and member driven society. This dedication is also reflected by its Study Groups. There are five open Co-Chair positions in the following groups:

- Neuroimaging | NEURO – Selena Milicevic Sephton, Canbridge & Maximilian Wiesmann, Nijmegen
- Oncoimmunology & Therapy | ONC-IMMU – Johannes Schwenk, Tübingen & Sandra Heskamp, Nijmegen
- X-ray/Lung Imaging | X-RAY – Greetje Vande Velde, Leuven & Emmanuel Brun, Grenoble

Election Procedure & Eligibility
Eligibility criteria: you need to be a member of the ESMI and your career level is postDoc+
- If more than two applications for one open position are received, the current leadership team will decide on the two shortlisted applicants. The election will then be done electronically by the entire membership.
- Term in office is two years – either as Chair or Co-Chair who takes over once the current Chair rotates out.
- The new leadership teams will be introduced at the Study Groups meetings @ the EMIM in Bilbao. Participation in the EMIM is therefore strongly recommended, but not mandatory for application.
- In case no application is received for a group, the Executive Committee may decide that the group is no longer viable and dissolve it.
