BMIC

Founded in 2015, BMIC is the first youngESMI group – a driving force and inspiration for all future yESMI groups and early-career imaging scientists.

BMIC is promoting the formation of a strong Belgium network of early career imaging scientists and provides an easy and informal entry into the broader, international imaging science community.

What does BMIC stand for?

BMIC is a bottom-up initiative. Our main aim is to network next generation scientists by creating a platform where the first steps towards new contacts are easy. In addition, we want to give PhD and Master students the opportunity to gain good experience and skills with presenting data and public speaking.

As all young ESMI groups, BMIC is part of the ESMI.
