The FiNYS Apéros are back! Join us in our excitement: let’s meet, chat, talk science, support and get to know each other – simply strengthen and expand the French network of (young) imaging scientists!

Apéro in Brest | October 2026

Join us in Brest for a wonderful evening of open (science) chat, informal exchange, and good company.

Our FiNYS Apéro in Brest takes place right before the GDR-AIM Scientific Days, also happening in Brest on 6–7 October.

How it works

We just meet after work at in a bar, each time in a different French city. Besides talking about science and life, hurdles, and success stories, we can plan further FiNYS activities, learn about your needs and ideas… snacks and drinks are kindly provided by the France Life Imaging network. The only thing you need to do is register. THAT’S IT!

Who we are and why you should join

FINYS is the French young ESMI group and as such, is part of ESMI the “mother society”. It is a bottom-up initiative run by the wonderful leadership team Matthieu, Elisa-Racky and Clément. The aim is to provide an easy, informal entry into the imaging science community and to build a strong (French) network at the very beginning of your career.
