Travel Grants
We are keen to show the benefits of being part of a young ESMI group. We offer travel grants incl. a registration waiver to anyone who hasn’t yet had the chance to get involved. The following criteria apply:

Eligibility & Application
- Eligibile candidates:
- MSc/PhD students or first-year postDocs
- from a country without a young ESMI Group so far
- Application:
- Send an email to GyMIC@esmi-insight.eu asking for travel support and outlining your motivation on why you are eager to join us in Göttingen.
- Applications will be accepted until 8 September and successful applicants will receive confirmation before the early registration deadline on 16 September.
Travel costs are reimbursed up to 100€ and your registration fee is covered.
Terms and Conditions of Cancellation
All changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing to the ESMI via e-mail to registration(at)esmi-insight.eu. Registration fees (less €10 to cover administrative costs) will be fully refunded for cancellations received by September 17, 2025. Later cancellation are not refundable (or for participants who fail to attend). Substitutes will be accepted at any time.
Book refundable travel options. The ESMI cannot be made liable for any refund of attendees’ travel or other individual costs related to the GyMIC goes Göttingen event in case of non-attendance or cancellation.
