Membership is based on one calendar year (1 Jan.-31 Dec.). With the very low annual fee, we want to keep the entry barrier as low as possible, while your benefits as high as possible. We also acknowledge that many of you working in this multidisciplinary field are part of other associations as well. Make sure to take care of your outstanding fees so that administrative efforts remain feasible.
1) INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
- Student Membership: 20€ / year
- Regular Membership: 85 € / year
MSc & PhD Students are eligible for the student fee, postDocs are considered as regular members.
2) INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP
This fee applies to members from one group / institute.
The only requirement for an Instituitional Membership is ONE INVOICE ADDRESS.
Fees are independent from set of student vs. regular members.

Interested in an Institutional Membership?
- Step 1: The group administrator fills the application form here.
- Step 2: The group administrator logs in to the member portal (with her/his self-given credentials).
- Step 3: After login, tick “Group” (menu left) and add all your team members who will become ESMI members.
- Step 4: An automated invitation goes out to all group members added.
- Step 5: Each group member accepts their invite individually – that’s it!
Note: The group administrator is not automatically a member, but can of course be added.

3) CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Corporate membership: 500€/per annum includes
- preferential treatment with regard to bookings and allocation of exhibition space at the EMIM
- five individual membership – all benefit from the advantages of being an ESMI member incl. membership in Study Groups
- one out of these five members gets voting rights
- post your job openings and events
- reduced individual registration fee for the EMIM
- prominent listing of corporate members
General Terms on Renewal & Termination
- your ESMI membership is valid for one calendar year
(1 Jan. to 31 Dec.) - membership automatically renews annually
- in case you wish to cancel your membership, please send a written notice by email at least one month before the end of the respective calendar year (by 30 November) to the ESMI
